Our family pension lies under the Vienna Woods and 300 meters from the Danube. Hospitality and comfort await you here in our 22 roomed pension - for an ideal vacation or business trip. The pension is 18 km northwest from the center of Vienna and 5 km from Klosterneuburg. These two nearby cities provide a variety of possibilities to relax for its visitors.

The Passau - a Viennese bikeway passes 200 meters from our pension. Der Roter Hahn pension lies directly beside a train station and bus station, from where busses and trains go in the direction of Klosterneuburg, Vienna as well as Tulln. Our rich breakfast gives you enough energy to go sight seeing or hiking.

In Klosterneuburg there is a romantic monastery: gothic tour in the Leopold-chapel, the world famous Verdunese Altar, with 51 brilliant Emailaltars, the glorious Emperor rooms, the original Residence of Karl the VI., with its unfinished brilliance and many extravagant exhibitions in the Klostermuseum; the Klosterneuburg monastery is one of the most advisable sights for culture fans.

Aside from the cultural sights we also advise for sports fans, to visit the Happyland in Klosterneuburg, where you'll find indoor and outdoor swimming pools. There are also other possibilities such as sauna, tennis, volleyball, bowling and soccer. It is also possible to swim in the cutoff lakes of the Danube.

In our Pension a variety of hungarian and international specialties await our guests. The Restaurant has 100 seats and a seperate room with 50 seats for events, at the bar we serve local wines and hungarian spirit.There is also a seperate room for people who don't smoke.

In pension Roter Hahn we await our guests with ten rooms with bathrooms. In the whole pension area we provide free Wi-Fi for highest comfort. Directly in front of the pension there is a parking lot. On requests we also provide rooms with Halfpension, but there is also a huge variety of delicious warm meals on our menu.
